Building Owner Surveyor - Typically my services will include;

  • Land Registry Search Fees to verify neighbours identity & address
  • Providing explanatory notes 
  • Form of Consent
  • Serving the notice with a stamped envelope assisting in their prompt reply. 
  • Providing  follow up 'Ten Day Notices' if the neighbour fails to respond
  • The drafting and serving of the Party Wall Award. 
  • Including a schedule of Condition survey in the Adjoining Owners Property.

Agreed Surveyor - For you the Building Owner and the Adjoining Owner

Where the Adjoining Owner agrees to appoint me as the  'Agreed' Surveyor a nominal additional fixed fee, usually around £250, depending on the scope of the project.

Adjoining Owner Surveyor- For the Neighbour

Under normal circumstances these are paid by the Building Owner but must be reasonable. In this instance I would prefer to discuss the scheme with the Building Owner or their representative and agree a fee otherwise my hourly rate would apply.
